He is a standing member of PIMCO’s emerging markets portfolio committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, he worked in the interest rate derivatives quantitative research group at Barclays Capital and at Lehman Brothers. He has 13 years of investment and financial services experience and holds a Ph.D. in physics from Yale University and a bachelor's degree from Peking University.
