Spyros Michas Portfolio Manager, Real Return Share Add Download Print Mr. Michas is a vice president and portfolio manager on the real return team in the Newport Beach office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2016, he was a teaching fellow in economics at Harvard University and a research fellow at Harvard’s Center for International Development (CID) think tank. He previously worked as a director in Fitch’s sovereign team in London, where he held credit roles across the structured finance and global financial institutions teams. He also worked as a quantitative analyst at Barclays in London and as an economist at the World Bank in Washington, DC. He has eight years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in economics from Harvard University.
